It does full fleet scale combat and uses vastly more ships per side than Gothic ever did (Commonly saw 1kpts fleets with 4 cruisers and 2-3 escorts while Firestorm at standard tournament 1kpts I took 8 cruisers, 1 dreadnought and 12 corvettes).
